If a child has a specific set
of problems that cannot be advised within a reasonable amount of time, then
that student and their parents/guardians will be directed to a counseling tent
to set up an appointment with someone that will be able to help them long-term.
These counselors will be provided by the school district. There will also be
DJ’s to play uplifting music and keep the schedule of events on track, a guest
speaker who will speak for approximately fifteen minutes, and our sponsors will
be at the rally to hand out free gifts to all attendees and show their support
for the children of the community.

What Happen At The Rally?
The
Anti-Bully project will be an ongoing rally and educational experience for the
elementary and middle school age children in Mesquite, Texas and the
surrounding areas. The
anti-bullying awareness rally will consist of an awareness walk that will
culminate at a local park or facility where the participants will be greeted by
local dignitaries, a carnival atmosphere with games, guest speakers/dancers,
and counselors with whom they will be able to converse while playing carnival
games. These school aged children, ages 10-16, will be able to receive
anti-bully awareness prizes, and speak to the counselors who will be running
the games.
