The local Elks Lodge is the perfect partner for the Anti-Bullying Awareness Rally committee due to their commitment to the local community. The Elks Lodge is a fraternal organization that concentrates on community activity, drug awareness, charitable endeavors, veteran’s assistance, and special needs children. Their established community involvement, especially from working with local schools and drug awareness programs, gives the members of the lodge a first-hand view of what may or may not be needed during the rally. The Elks lodges also have the knowledge to receive grant monies from their upper lodges in order to pay for such endeavors.
Local Businesses Can Join in on the Fun Too!
The
Anti-Bully Awareness Committee need local businesses to sponsor the event as
well. Businesses can pay to sponsor the event in exchange for their names being
on the back of t-shirts that will be given to the event attendees. The sponsors will also have the opportunity
to have a table at the event to pass along their information about their business
and also hand out free gifts and prizes to the attendees. This is considered
advertising for local businesses. By
being a sponsor these businesses are showing the people of the community that
they are committed to the safety of our local school children. Join us, won't you?
